Cbank sees Russian inflation remaining at about 4% in next few mos
MOSCOW, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- Russia’s annual inflation will remain at 4% over the next few months, the central bank said in a report on Friday.
The inflation target for the end of the year is 4%.
“In May, annual inflation did not change as compared with April, stabilizing near the target level. Annual inflation will remain on the level of about 4% over the months to come,” the central bank said.
According to the ruler, the stable components of inflation, such as prices of nonfood goods in the consumer basket will fall. The situation on the fruit and vegetable market is not expected to deteriorate significantly.
